Energy savings
The object profiling enables filtering out parallel traffic, ignoring pedestrians and optimizing the opening height of the door if desired. Furthermore, the virtual pull cord can be used for intentional activation. Therefore the door only opens when needed.

The FALCON is a unidirectional motion sensor optimizing the performance of automatic doors. The FALCON detects every type of target and can filter people. Detecting vehicles only allows to reduce the door closing cycle by rejecting cross-traffic. Mounted at 7 m the FALCON has a detection field of 4 x 5 m. At 3.5 m, the FALCON XL detects in an area of 4 x 2 m.

Opening and presence sensor for automatic industrial doorsThe IXIO-D INDUS combines two technologies – radar and infrared – to achieve a double goal: opening and protection. The IXIO-D INDUS protects automatic doors as well as those operating them.
The IXIO-D INDUS radar senses any approaching movement towards the door, while the infrared technology senses the presence of people and objects in the area around the closing zone of the door.

PROTECTING THE DOOR
The radar monitors a large, adjustable area. Its responsiveness makes it ideal for opening and re-opening the door for fork-lift trucks and vehicle traffic. In this way, it helps to prevent the vehicles from colliding into the door, when approaching at a reasonable speed.

PROTECTING USERS
Two curtains of 24 (48 total), high-density infrared spots provide precise presence detection near the threshold area. Provided on both sides of the door, this additional volumetric protection reduces the door’s hold-time and therefore reduces the opening and closing time of the door.

The IXIO-D is a hybrid technology sensor designed for the activation and protection of automatic sliding doors worldwide since 2012. Powered by Artek Inside, it delivers a smooth and convenient door-opening experience, featuring an infrared curtain that helps prevent direct contact between users and the door. The IXIO-D ensures safety at the leading edge and threshold of the door during closing.
